Acts of Parliament is the name given to Acts made to resolve issues or disputes between the House of Commons and the House of Lords. Historically, the House of Lords has exerted more power over UK legislation than the House of Commons and Parliament Acts are a useful way of resolving conflict that unite both Houses on level grounding and mutual understanding.
