Alternative Business Structures (ABS) or ‘Tesco Law’ as it has been dubbed, relates to huge changes in legal services in the UK, undoubtedly leading to the proliferation of lawyer availability in places where they were previously not allowed to practice.

Chris Huhne is the well known Liberal Democrat MP who is currently at the centre of a scandal for allegedly asking his wife to accept some speeding points 'on his behalf'. There is no doubt that this type of conversation is not limited to the homes of MPs, but the fact that Mr Huhne already had too many penalty points on his driving licence adds fuel to the fire.

I know, I know, such a bizarre topic; it was going to get more interesting once the lecturer was telling us more. I actually believe we owe the environment the chance to stand up for their own right, (but obviously this can’t be done due to the obvious reason) so to see things from their perspective is what my objective will be throughout this blog.

In the past, people either wrote their own Wills, or traditionally, if they wanted professional help they had to go to a solicitor. But solicitors are governed by law; will-writing companies are not.
