How it all works
At Law on the Web, we know as well as anyone how difficult legal issues can be to handle. We also know that when you are trying to take care of legal issues, the worry of trying to find a decent law firm or solicitor to help or represent you is just another hurdle you could surely do without.
However, we strongly believe that the law should work for everyone, and it shouldn’t be this difficult. With that in mind, we came up with a solution.
Find a Solicitor
Our Find a Solicitor service has been of great help to many – there simply isn’t an easier and quicker way to find a solicitor who is skilled and experienced in the area of the law that you need help with.
We only work with reputable and trustworthy solicitors and law firms, sparing you the worry of being undone by an unscrupulous or incompetent legal professional.
So how does it work?
All you need to do is input your details into the form on this page – your name, some contact information, and preferably a little background on your case and what you need help with.
Once we have your details, we’ll do our best to find a solicitor or law firm near you who can help, and they will contact you. Our service is fast, and you will often be in touch with your solicitor before or on the next working day.
If we can’t find you a solicitor
We pride ourselves on doing everything we can to put our users in touch with whatever legal help and guidance they need. However, we may be unable to find a solicitor appropriate for your situation – unfortunately, there are sometimes cases none of our solicitors would be right for.
We are always looking to expand our efforts and increase the number of people we can help. In the meantime, we can recommend a number of other resources that may be of great help.
Solicitors on the Web – another legal resource started by Everything Legal, Solicitors on the Web is a vast, easily searchable directory of different law firms across the country, specialised across every facet of UK law you can imagine.
Many solicitors and law firms manage their own presence on Solicitors on the Web, allowing you to instantly make direct contact with them, as well as learning more about them before you get in touch.
Citizens Advice Bureau – the CAB is a charity dedicated to providing everyone in the UK with helpful advice with legal problems, among other issues. They will sometimes go as far as to provide representation in court or tribunal appearances for those who need it. Citizen Advice Bureaux operate locally across the country, and there is a good chance that there is a Bureau quite near you.
Ombudsman services – there are a number of specialised ombudsman services operating in the UK, each working to fairly handle complaints within their specific sectors. Ombudsman services that could help you include the Financial Ombudsman Service, the Legal Services Ombudsman and the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman.
