LQ01 Notice of Appointment of an Administrative Receiver, Receiver or Manager

Where a company is unable to gain access to cash or credit to finance its liabilities, Insolvency proceedings may be brought by the creditors, or may be entered into voluntarily by the company. In cases where creditors hold a charge over the company’s assets they may themselves appoint a receiver to manage these assets in certain circumstances.

England & Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland all have distinct and differing legislation relating to insolvency, the arrangements which are available to companies and the procedures which must be followed. In all cases of corporate insolvency, independent advice should be sought.

This form enables a company to give notice to Companies House that a receiver, administrative receiver or manager has been appointed and has authority to deal with the company’s assets.
