Deed of Revocation for General Power of Attorney

If you have granted Power of Attorney – the authority to make financial and legal decisions on your behalf – to selected individuals, there may come a time when you wish to alter the details of this arrangement, selecting other Attorneys rather than those you initially chose. Whatever your reasoning, it’s important that you make this clear in writing, otherwise legal problems or disputes are bound to arise.

This form can be used to revoke a Power of Attorney document which you have already created. Revocations can occur for any number of reasons, but you do not have to include the details in the revocation form. Like our Power of Attorney forms, it’s completely free to download and requires no legal knowledge or expertise to fill it out.

Ensure that this document is completed and signed, and that it is stored with the original document to make it clear that it has been invalidated.
