Tenancy Agreement
A tenancy agreement can be used to grant an assured shorthold tenancy of a property to one or more tenants for residential purposes. It is essential to use one if you are looking to rent out property.
You will need to prepare an inventory, setting out the contents of the property and the conditions of the furnishings, and you should ask your tenants to sign this. If you live far away from, the property then it may be beneficial for you to engage an agent to check tenants in and out of the property and inspect it for damage.
