Deed of Assignment (Miscellaneous Property)

A deed of assignment can be used to transfer all of the interests and rights which you hold in property to another individual. Anything classed as property is capable of being the subject of a deed of assignment, for example shares, trademarks and businesses.

Where there are formal requirements for registering interests in property (for example in the case of land or shares), the party to whom the interest in the property is assigned can force the person making the assignment to re-register the property in his name.
