Vioxx Cases

We are working with lawyers both here in the UK and in the USA to try and help those who have suffered strokes and heart problems while taking the drug Vioxx.

Merck & Co., Inc. the company that make the product, recently (30

September 2004) announced a voluntary withdrawal of Vioxx (rofecoxib) from the U.S. and worldwide market due to safety concerns of an increased risk of cardiovascular events (including heart attack and stroke) in patients on Vioxx.  Vioxx is a prescription COX-2 selective, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that was approved by FDA in May 1999 for the relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis, for the management of acute pain in adults, and for the treatment of menstrual symptoms. Vioxx was later approved for the relief of the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis in adults and children.

If you think you or a loved one has suffered as a result of taking Vioxx we would be pleased to hear from you. Please email us with your details, including a telephone number and email address, if possible, and we will do our best to get an experienced solicitor/attorney to help and advise you on any possible claim you may have. The initial advice is free and there is no obligation on you to continue with any action recommended.
