Employer's Driving at Work Policy

A company which requires employees to drive during the course of business – whether merely as a means of getting to meetings or for business-centric purposes such as delivering goods – needs to have a driving policy in place. It’s important that you demonstrate your dedication to following road traffic law through a code of practice to which your employees must adhere.

A driving policy lays out the requirements for any employees who will need to operate a vehicle for business purposes, and ensures that they are fit to do so and meet all the legal conditions for it. Driving policies are important for the safety of your employees and the reputation of your business, not to mention for protecting your livelihood if any legal action should be brought against you.

Our policy templates make it easy to put together your own driving policy for your employees, and you don’t need any knowledge of the law or employment regulations. All you’ll have to do is fill out your company details where indicated on the form, and you’ll have a legally approved policy ready for you to implement.
