Q: I have been given notice by my employer to change my contract. They have not consulted me about this and they have simply told me that if I do not accept this then they will terminate my contract and re-engage me on new terms. What should I do?
A: This would be a breach of contract, so you could bring forth a constructive unfair dismissal claim or an unfair dismissal claim and tell your employer that you would be working under protest. You would either be resigning or agreeing.
My employer is dismissing me unfairly deliberately stating that they can afford the consequences of age discrimination. How much would I be able to claim for age discrimination?
