Q: I am owed a large amount of money in salary that my employers have yet still to pay. I have not been paid for the last 2 months. In 2009 I earned £62,000 but my employers said they could only pay £22,000. I do not have a contract with them but I do have a P60 which shows that I have been employed since 2005 and has determined that I am an employee. I was told that I would be given more responsibility and be earning a lot more than I have received. I have not been given a reason as to why the deductions have been made. My next salary is due in a few days and if I am not paid I will be owed 3 months’ salary. What can I do?
A: You can potentially make a claim on grounds of your employer’s unfair deduction of wages.
I have been given notice by my employer to change my contract. They have not consulted me about this and they have simply told me that if I do not accept this then they will terminate my contract and re-engage me on new terms. What should I do?

read moreI was made redundant a few years ago from a brewery. One of the terms of contract was that if I took the pension, then the private medical insurance would continue on redundancy for both my husband and I. My employer wrote last year to say they were no longer going to honour this. I wrote to complain and provided the paperwork. They then responded saying that they did not have sight of this so they would pay, but recently I received another letter stating that they cannot sustain payment. I have written back to challenge them as this is a matter of contractual entitlement. I gave my employer a final opportunity to resolve this but there was no response received. What do I do now?
