Q: I am constantly being harassed by an individual online through social networking sites. I have contacted the police but they haven’t taken any action. What should I do?
A: You may want to keep a record of the harassment and keep in touch with the police. You may also want to contact the owner of the social network site and report the harassment, as they may be able to remove the profile of the harasser. You could look into putting in writing that you consider the behaviour to be harassment and that you may start legal proceedings if it doesn’t stop.
