Q: I was crossing the road and was knocked down by a car. I suffered bruising and various injuries. What action should I take?
A: If you can prove that it was negligence on the part of the driver, this would put you in a strong position to take legal action. You should look to recover your losses for injury as you have a duty to mitigate these. Report the incident to the police along with any evidence you have. If you are seeking to claim, you should do so as soon as possible.
