Q: My son and I have recently caught a disease from our cattle as the vet that inspected them failed to identify the disease. What claims can pursue against him?
A: The Supply of Sales and Goods Act 1982 would apply here. You need to locate an independent vet report for a personal injury claim, and you would need to make this within three years of the contraction of the disease.
I would like advice about if an insurance company can go back on their decision. I am having an issues with a UK insurance company as I believe that they are dealing with my insurance policy incorrectly. They seem to be able to select where they put a claim rather than acknowledging a number of issues verified by letters written by my solicitor and judgements made by building inspectors, etc. The company claim it is an underpinning problem caused by subsidence on my property, yet I believe that it has been caused by my next door neighbour's building works. The insurance first called it an accident, now they are saying it is subsidence. I have received a letter from the Ombudsman arbitrator but I feel this is a biased letter and now my neighbour's house is saying 'sold subject to contract'. I am concerned this is a sham sale in order to facilitate me to try and block the sale.

The fire service wanted to make sure that the fire was not going to spread potentially causing damage to my property so they broke in to check, causing damage to my front door. The total cost was approximately £800 and I am not covered by insurance. It is suspected that arson was the cause of the fire. I am wondering what my options are?
