Q: My employee has handed in their resignation but has not yet returned vital documents containing important information in relation to the company and other objects such as keys belonging to the company. What can I do?
A: Contact the employee informing them that the documents and important objects are required within the time frame of seven days. If no response is heard within the appointed time, inform the third party that they are now obliged to pay for the lock replacement and are also in breach of the company contract stating all things in possession of the company should be returned.

My employee has now submitted an unfair dismissal claim on grounds that I did not attempt to contact her. What should I do now?
