Q: I believe that I am being bullied at work. I am a financial advisor and my manager placed me on a performance improvement plan. It does not appear that my manager has any justification in doing so but I did not raise a grievance. What can I do?
A: It would be best to wait until you have received the outcome of the performance improvement plan before you can raise a grievance for unequal treatment. This can be done if, for example, you perceive that other members of staff, although afforded detrimental treatment, are not treated as badly as yourself. Nevertheless, it appears that you may consider raising a grievance unless you believe that this will exacerbate your treatment by your manager more.
