My car was clamped at my child’s school. There is a sign indicating it is a private road and cars will be clamped there. However, I have been parking there for 3 years and there is nowhere else to park. I have paid the fine to get the car released but I am concerned about the inconsistency of this issue.

Read MoreI part-exchanged a vehicle approximately 4 months ago and bought another one from the dealer approximately 2 and a half months ago. There wasn’t a full MOT on the vehicle and when I later took it to the garage it failed. I took the vehicle back to the original seller and they charged £130 for the work. I then took the vehicle to the MOT garage and they checked and found that the seller had done the wrong work and not changed the parts that needed changing. I took it back to the original seller and they want to charge more money. The vehicle is a P registration plate, so it is not new at all. It initially appeared to be in good condition but is not. When the seller was doing work he also sheared off a bolt which should not have been sheared and this is likely to cause other problems if not fixed. The seller will be calling me later today and is currently indecisive about whether he is going to charge me or not. What should I do about this?
